It is not very easy. For what they started with: Renting DVDs in the mail it is a huge distribution operation. I think they also manufacture the media. For the download they have created a very nice network of customers through their download device, these people don't need to stream it through a computer or buy Apple TV. They sell the device through sony playstations, TVs etc. etc. So people get easy access to their service. This is a huge advantage. They are exploding in Canada. Now they are adding European movies. Yes it is an easy business to run. ebay is easy to run. But try to start another eBay.(even the spell checker knows eBay) :) And then the contracts with the studios who own the rights.
