It is the FEDs/governments market rigging that helped enable the insider trading to become so pervasive. Now they are going to clean it up by going after the people that figured out how to take advantage of the market rigging (at least they will go after the ones that are on the fringes and not on the approved list of cronies). Meanwhile the market rigging itself continues untouched. Buy GS they are about to acquire a "few" more clients, make a "few" more under priced distressed acquisitions, etc... <g/ng>
