I don't have a clue what happens in Hong Kong. I assume whatever happens there stays there.

I never claimed to have a clue about Hong Kong. (Although I did enjoy reading Tai Pan, in my youth)

I find this patently absurd, based on my understanding of the 2 countries.

You interjected with the Hong Kong gambit.

That was a discussion changer, which I am not prepared to address, nor particularly interested in pursuing.

Hong Kong is less than a blip in the new world order.

It is the home of the Chinese capitalists who have successfully managed to elude the mainland "freedoms"...sorta like an Asian Wall Street, another monument to greed.
