Barbara - the anatomy of a loss:

week one - hmm... if I sell now I'd have to buy it a lot
lower to make up for the taxes etc... who knows
if it'll get that low and then I'll feel like an
idiot ... (famous last words)

week two - hmm... gosh that's quite a hit. if I sell
now it'll be quit a loss. hell there's nothing
wrong with the company, just some uncertainty
about the state of south american economies,
and isn't there always that uncertainty?

week three - hmm... damn it! gotta be near bottom. what
sort of rationalization can I make to hold this
stock. oh ya - the 200 dma and the last real
base is just below here. almost over.

so for now on it's to hell with taxes. :) :o) :O)

Barbara:
If a stock falls 10% from your purchase price it probably is time to get out. CHSE was showing good fundamentals and I didn't sell it because I couldn't understand it's falling. Also I didn't want to take a short term gain (poor excuse). I still believe If the Fed doesn't tighten in November the Techs will rise again, before the bear market gets underway.
