Some emotional words from Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders over the increasing social inequality in America, which he now defines as indicative of America's transition to a banana republic.

Excellent thoughts John and I agree. Look at how many deals Dodd got from mozilo at countrywide.

Look at the rigged inflation numbers....and no increase in SS benefits for the elderly in the last two years....but record bonuses for banksters....this BS has to end.

"Look, if a man is stupid enough to take a loan from a bank at 10 percent or 30 percent or 50 percent interest, so what? It's NONE of my business or concern. Why should it be?

Replace "stupid enough" with "desperate enough" and what you have is a moral issue that has been denounced by at least 2 major religions and many great philosophers.

Just a thought...maybe we should be trying to look out for those who are less fortunate in terms of money, brains, education, looks, physical ability, etc. instead of leaving them to the sharks or preying upon them ourselves.

But yeah, bailing them out after their greed comes back to bite them in the ass, is just adding insult to injury...

"The banks are blood-sucking parasites. The politicians are evil vampires. They are in bed together.

Look, if a man is stupid enough to take a loan from a bank at 10 percent or 30 percent or 50 percent interest, so what? It's NONE of my business or concern. Why should it be?"

nice points. I think one more is that 'a democracy will last until the voters figure out that they can vote themselves access to the property of others.' we are there...
