In,

Sorry if I misunderstood you and thought you were heated. :-) Let's make nice.

Here's some news about numbers:

Headline: Apple Books $500,000 In Orders In First Day On Internet

======================================================================
CUPERTINO, Calif. -(Dow Jones)- Apple Computer Inc. said Tuesday that
its on-line Apple Store received more than 4.4 million visits, or
"hits," and booked more than $500,000 of orders during its first 12
hours of operation.
Apple Computer (AAPL) said the Apple Store is part of its
distribution strategy of combining direct sales over the Internet
alongside its resellers.
On Monday, Apple announced a move to begin to sell computers directly
over the World Wide Web. The new Macintosh models include Apple's first
to use a powerful new chip, called the PowerPC 750. The new desktop
systems are aimed at professionals in publishing and other areas.
Besides speed, the new chip consumes less power than comparable chips
from market leader Intel Corp., industry executives say.
Apple has made a series of announcements in recent weeks aimed at
boosting awareness and demand for its Macintosh products. Apple last
week said it struck a deal with retailing giant CompUSA Inc. to launch a
"store within a store" for selling Apple products.
