"I was one of those in the streets."

And you were probably among those who spit on my brothers and me as we returned from there, and called us war criminals.

Nothing has changed about the Domino theory from those days, except that type of enemy is much less obvious. But, it is just as insidiously motivated to undermine freedom, crush individual motivation, and redistribute wealth as it ever was. Curiously, that tide has failed in much of the world since then, but thrives here...for now.

Johnson couldn't compete against that tide, which is most recently manifested here in the form of O*ama as our dear leader. Fortunately, he is doing more to polarize Americans against that enemy - Socialism in any form - than anything that has happened since the Vietnam era.

You Liberals made a mistake with him. He hasn't been subtle enough. He has abandoned the Fabian strategy of taking baby steps, and set back your progress considerably in the way he has alienated voters. If he doesn't shift to the Right in the next year+, you will see Congress and the WH fully obliged to the Tea Party following the next election. ...not sure that will be good either. Remember McCarthyism, the French Revolution?

Good luck.
