Yes, I think 3Com is in trouble w/USR. Time will show that ASND is making all the right moves. I can't wait for those 12/98 earnings to start snowballing. But time flys....except during agonizing weeks like these. I expect the fun to return by June! I assure you that you don't have to wait until 6/98 to have fun w/ ASND again. Mgmt is very angry about the stock being unjustly treated like dirt. They are determined to prove the St is wrong. Never underestimate ASND's resolve and resourcefulness. I would not. After all, mgmt did disclose the state of biz in 7/97 in the 8K form, but made a mistake not holding a CC during the pre-announcement late in Sept. Mgmt has tried to change that by communicating to the investment community more regularly and forthcoming. I would not short ASND at 22 -23 b/c chance of being squeezed is high for a few deals in the work will change the sentiment. Furthermore, most MMs already bailed out. The small investors are either shorting the stock or selling for tax write-off. If you notice, the volume has dried up indicating the bottom. Soon, the crowd will be back. You will be amazed to see how fast the sentiment can change.
