Mexican beer is terrific. Cerveceria Cuahutemoc and Cerveceria Modelo make outstanding beer.

I had to suffer through Bimbo bread as a kid, though. Really, really bad stuff. Fortunately, there were a huge number of very small neighborhood panaderias that baked terrific bread.

A cement company that my family was involved in back in the day is now huge.
