Paul,Compaq made a turn today. Going higher. Has tested the lows of "HK" Monday. Sentiment is shifting back to positive.Buyers are back.

Than what is the whisper figure? 90 cents? Deja vu all over again, this gang shorts CPQ earnings season comes.

Paul - Thanks for posting the link, I had not seen the article. Only thing I disagree with is that the article states that they don't see many more Intel 'price cuts'. From what I read, there will be more price cuts coming (rumors that Intel is already selling the 233 PII at the alleged 'Feb 1998' price to several vendors) due to the emergence of the sub 1K market, and also to try and kill off competition from AMD and Cyrix. Those cuts will be an added plus for the box makers!
