Schultz had 800K viewers in Oct.....that was a record for him. By comparison, O'Reilly has over 5 million. and that 800K viewers is out of total population base of 300+ million. If Schultz is your guru and voice of authority, its very likely you are out of step with the rest of the liberal population and certainly with the rest of the country.

And let me remind you....Obama continues to be the most popular politician in this country. He must be doing something right.

How's that for a contrary view?

Obama has a big problem with his base right now -- it's not something to cover up, hide or ignore...I like to examine multiple perspectives and it's more than clear that many progressives are very upset right now...Ed Schultz is sorta like the Rush Limbaugh on the left -- he reaches a lot of viewers and listeners on his MSNBC TV show and on his nationally syndicated radio show...In the last 24 hours I heard Ed Schultz call President Obama "a turncoat to the base"...Ed is very frustrated with the president and feels he is often unwilling to fight for what he said was most important during his campaign.

The "base" is reckless and naive in my opinion. If the exaggerations and rigidity don't stop we will lose the WH in two years...and people like Schultz and Huffington will have had a pretty good hand in it.
