And how do they relate to your appreciation for science?>> I believe kindness and compassion are the one truth in the universe I have found. Can't prove it. I always told my kids when they get lost look to the compass of kindness as it always points in the right direction. Being in politics most of my life I have found the conservatives to be much less kind and compassionate than liberals. Compare Beck, Limbaugh and Palin to Bill Moyers, Nelson Mandela or Martin Luther King. I have also found the more sophisticated a persons thinking generally the more kind they are. So that brings us to scientists.
