Regarding the belief in evolution, if a person knows it is true and says otherwise, it makes him or her either a liar, lazy with reality, or worse delusional. What could be a good reason for denying evolution? Most conservatives also are denying global warming too, and that could have dire consequences. Sort of important to concentrate on the truth of things these days. Most liberals believe in global warming. Because most of the best scientists tell us it is true and we can see big changes. Arctic pack ice down by a 1/3 in 10 years. Thickness halved in 30 years. Rough estimates, can't remember exactly. Bill Maher said it well: "conservative's live in fantasy land" the fantasy land you just described, saying people who believe evolution also deny it.
