I just want to remain clear that I've spent several posts saying that, as well. My point is that knowledge is a form of "power" and that education is probably the best means of maintaining a rational world community promoting self interest through cooperation and understanding--and Constitutions, policies, directives, and laws that are structured around human rights and freedoms as rationally determined by good minds and good hearts. And that includes scientists, btw!
