To be fair in the chart, start it at the beginning of the Bush term.

Fair? Who is playing fair?

The point of the chart is that Obama inherited an economy that was throwing off jobs at a frightening and accelerating pace and the trend has steadily reversed since he took office. People need to know that.

Here you go. If the argument here is that tax cuts will create jobs then look at the first four or so years following W's cuts of 2001.

Frankly I don't think there's any connection, either way. I also don't think we can afford these tax cuts...I am puzzled by the silence from the oh_so_debt_critical tea party....where's dick armey now?
