Selfish people are usually just selfish. And mean people usually just mean. And they all make excuses for their behavior. I don't doubt that. What I am questioning is your criterion for determining if someone is a mean or selfish person. You seem to start with the notion that conservatives are inherently mean and selfish. That should be a conclusion drawn from sufficient evidence, not a starting point. See the pattern? From one example? Hell, no. Starting with a presumption and then picking out one example that you think demonstrates it doesn't cut it. Blacks were historically mistreated. Blacks mostly vote democratic. Ergo there is a pattern of meanness and selfishness among Republicans. Yep, world class scientific quality proof ya got going there. You should be banned from using the word, "logic."
