So my broker calls this a.m. and says, "Why are all the IDX announcements - non announcements"? He claims the following: the bulk of Identix announcements contain no real clue as to the dollar value to the company. Over time he and other brokers he's talked to have tuned the company out because he feels they offer no help in analysing future earnings potential. He CAN'T SELL the story! If he can't sell it there is no value in it for him. Today's announcement is typical. We can see from the huge volume and strong stock action that "da market" was impressed once again. Randy uses the word "should" in the announcement as in should benefit IDX, blah, blah. I realize the lawsuit has him running scared but would it be too much to actually say "will" as in we expect we will make big bucks from this alliance. And lay out just what is involved here. It's now clear that law enforcement business has been discounted in the stock. Now on to the possibility for really making some money. I may be able to get some information on the Oracle project. I have a friend who troubleshoots large networks for a big telecom. He is a security freak. He will be involved with Oracle people over the next two weeks while they train him on the erotica of their system. He has promised to badger them as to the status of the IDX Option - he understands the issues. I told him find out IF they're going to use it or WHY they don't like it, but FIND OUT what the heck is going on! Hopefully we'll have an answer to some of our questions. Unfortunately in todays IBD I noticed the accumulation/distribution on IDX has changed from B, bullish to C average. Not great.
