Every dollar you have has been taxed, several times.

Once a monetary unit has been taxed, it isn't put out to pasture.

The concept of income tax relates to the recipient of the income, not the (deceased) payer.

We already exclude a relatively large chunk of this income from taxation.

By claiming that the entire estate ought to be given a tax pass makes no sense.

It is more of the custom written tax treatment that favors the very wealthy, in this case, specifically multimillionaires.

A carrot that the 2-bit politicians in this country sell over and over to the folks who can pay for the privilege.
