So the exclusion amount is (excluding repeal) is actually much fairer than you mentioned ... yet it seems it is not as you mentioned (simulating) a tax on earning to the recipients but a chop off the top... say 5 kids.. 3 millionaires.. 2M+ each... and two working stiffs ... net worth.. 200K each.. all effectively taxed equally since it is on estate.. hmmmm ! Goes against the liberal grain in me... ... am I reading incorrectly ?
