Ah, I'm demonizing you? Do you or don't you want to force society to accept gay marriage and abortion on demand whether or not a majority support it? Me, I can live with what the voters in each state vote for. -------------------- As for unelected judges (i.e. appointed ones), do you have a reason to consider them poorer stewards of the citizenry's needs and cares than directly-elected ones? Yes. Not only that I reject the idea judges are supposed to be stewards of the citizens needs and cares.
