Isn't it funny how much folks loved Clinton when he was triangulating like crazy after 1994 but they are pissing their pants now because they discovered once again that there really isn't a progressive majority in the country? That's what cracks me up. I have always known that I am more liberal than the average American.......in fact, I have become more liberal as I have gotten older. Unfortunately, too many on the left think they are in the majority and want to act accordingly. Obama has to deal with the reality. Rs have had nearly 30 years to pound their lies into American heads. Its going to take more than one or two successful Dem administrations to counteract those lies. This country is like an ocean liner....you can't change its direction quickly. If that were possible, the Titanic would still be with us. As for the tax cuts, I don't know if Obama has the votes in Congress to get what he wants to make the deal work.
