The government will have to borrow another $600 billion to $800 billion to pay for the cost of the compromise deal between Obama and the GOP. That money will be borrowed from China and other countries, including middle eastern countries

Maybe instead of borrowing the government should be cutting spending instead.

Isn't that what you would do if you had a decrease in income?

And yes, many people would borrow money if their income suddenly decreased. But not if their credit rating was in the toilet. And I think we can all agree that any loans to the US government have a bit of associated risk.

Time to cut spending. Time for the federal government to get smaller.

Gosh, Kenneth this means Obama is toast in 2012. Can you imagine any of his supporters supporting him?

How can extending tax cuts that already existed be considered increasing debt?????
