I don't know what to make of all this. There is a lot of fighting between parties and within parties about what should happen to existing wealth with no recognition of something very basic...wealth comes from the production of things which carry value beyond the costs of producing them. I don't hear it from the 'we just want jobs' people or from the 'we are the jobs creator' people. Find ways to 'create greater value' should be an over riding principle and we should hear it being shouted from the mountain tops. This is an over riding principle that could inform us exactly where to direct existing wealth, if it were responded to.
