Raptor,
The stock will probably drop after the split. This seems to be the latest trend. My guess is that the stock will be higher prior to the split and then decline. I'm not so sure that it's investors selling off half their shares but more likely people who are trading. Why would an investor sell half their share of PSFT? Only MHO here. Am thinking of buying some calls..maybe Dec 65's or then again, maybe none. Just thinking about it.

Raptor, splits mean nothing. There is no measurable change in beta and price movements don't accellerate. The one thing you can say is that a stock split generally means that management is bullish.
