My major gripe is his negotiating style....he gives in way too easily IMO This was the perfect issue to take to the wall. It's got everything. the reps are the party of by and for the rich deficit reduction it's the status quo, you don't have to pass anything the reps already rejected a middle class tax cut so it's on their back taxes are the lowest in generations if the reps cut off the unemployed, well, that's not exactly popular *no offset to about $700 billion in lost revenue You've got to take the easy wins. The Reps are celebrating. They love Obama. He's weak and just made them look strong and went a long way towards giving them the WH in '12. You think if we had Hillary she would have caved?
