At the p/e of some of these brokerage stocks: not a worry. TROW, SCH, BEN are coming down as fast as they went up. And I think from the multi-point hit these stocks took today, the hit is at hand.
I would not short legg-mason or DLJ.
Remember also that at no time in this century have the banks been as overvalued as they are now, and the hedge funds are shorting some of big banks.
