They are not radical ideas but they are in this country. That's what I mean when I say you can't see the forest for the trees. This is not a liberal country......far from it. You say Obama looks tired.....of course he does. He's been swimming upstream for two years, getting liberal ideas passed while the liberal peanut gallery oomplains every inch of the way. You want a liberal country.......you get two liberal senators from Alaska in DC. You tell Scott to hold his nose and vote for Alexi the next time around. Hell....do you think liberalism would sprout like newly planted grass? The American people have to be educated after getting miseducated for decades by the Rs. Its a process that will take years to accomplish but it ain't going to happen if you Dems keep throwing up your hands in frustration every time something doesn't go your way. You nickel and dime Obama every time he opens his mouth. And yet, you've got no one better. That's bull......pure unadulterated bull. At this stage of the game, backstabbing Obama is like betting with money you don't have. In the meantime, Obama wanted to have the tax cut vote before the midterms. Reid turned him down because Boxer and Murray were afraid they would not get re elected. Had I know that before the midterms I would not have worked on Murray's campaign. The Dems are one big pain in the butt. Always complaining.....always whining about something. Its sickening. No wonder Obama is so tired putting up with that nonsense. Between the misinformed American people and the uphappy Dems, Obama got backed into a corner after the midterms. Now he's trying to make lemonade out of lemons.....to a chorus of more complaining. Again I say to you.......if you want a liberal country or even a center left country, then start electing liberals in Alaska and other red states. Until that happens this country will continue to be center right. End of story. Well, I just watched Austin Goolsby tell a bold faced lie. About how Obama got all these tax cuts and business incentives. When did anyone ever have to get tax cuts or business incentives out of the Republicans? He got the unemployment benefits and that was good, but maybe everyone needed to think about that a while ago? And there are far too many poor that need attention. You don't talk about the forest. You only talk about one tree. The forest is understanding that universal healthcare is NOT a radical idea. That getting our of war is NOT a radical idea. That prosecuting Wall street is NOT a radical idea. That going after torturers is NOT a radical idea. That getting rid of DADT is NOT a radical idea. And most importantly, understanding how dangerous the right wing is and that he needs to engage them in a full blown fight as they are turning this country into a plutocracy. I am not OK with a plutocracy. Maybe you are?
