The cap on when SS stops is:

For the year 2010, the Social Security Wage Base is $106,800. In October 2010, the Social Security Administration announced[3] that the wage base would remain unchanged for 2011.

When the cap is eliminated it would be the equivalent of raising the top rate by 6 1/2% (?). Obamacare I believe raises the rate by 4%. We are fast on our way to a top rate of north of 50%.
