Of course I am trying to be reasonable. I consider that to be a moral duty of adult humans. (I do appreciate your saying so; I recognize the compliment.) I do not at this time agree with your view that does not countenance abortion. But I have grown old enough and wise enough to realize that I am neither old nor wise enough to think I've arrived at my final end-all opinion, especially on a difficult subject like abortion. I will remember and consider your insight that your view of the subject evolved. It is not beyond imagining that mine might one day align with yours.
