I do not think it would be fair to examine my statement out of context of the post in which I presented it. I said and say that I admit no limits when asking who I am, what the universe is and the other really big questions, such as the lovely Heidegger one that one_less brought to this board. I would think it obvious that I have my personal moral limits, things and ideas that make me saw Eww so quickly that I effectively do not think about them at all. In that light, associating me with a totalitarian despot and a satanist, both of who were notorious serial killers, is, well, not quite cricket. I am saying that I reserve and exercise the right and duty to question any moral principles andor doctrines that are supplied by someone not myself, to decide for myself by myself. it is an axiom of human life that we internalize moral values from earliest childhood. Kindergarten is a place where tremendous moral growth and definition occur. Interacting with other kids my age, some sweeties, other bullies, i quickly developed an idea of what worked and what didn't ... what was good and what stunk. These moral formative years have such different outcomes for each of us. Some leave with the moral geography that ultimately has them managing a food bank or fostering crack babies. On the far side of this moral and ethical spectrum, others find their milieu as political lobbyists...
