The Thread:
I was at Jerry's August Seminar and I can tell you that WDC and APM were touted a strongly as NXTL is now, or more so. I took it in the shorts. I've done much better on my own picks. Some up-some down but much better as a whole.

freeus: What does Nextel to 1000 mean? Honistly, I don't know.

I'm probably dense, but it's not the projected stock price, is it?
Or is is just a slang term that indicates that Nextel is a very srong buy.

Guess I'm not as smart as I thinks I am.

Jerry Klein is usually pretty good with his premier picks but in WDC's case he fell in love with the stock and chose to ignore the fundos of the hd industry, which is historically replete with price cutting and sharp stock price retreats when inventory gluts hit the industry. He should have followed his own advice about support and resistance.

I wouldn't compare NXTL's current situation with WDC's. We're talking about a slowdown in the pc biz, with the hd guys me-tooing and choking on inventory, while NXTL's wireless biz is still in its infancy. NXTL's key to success is the overall market: Sideways to up, positive for NXTL; down takes all ships, without soiling the fundo future of NXTL. The run it 32 is a harbinger of much greater things to come. The only thing is when, not if. 1000 a share? Not in my lifetime.
