My wayward train of thought took me to a former colleague who'd emigrated from the Soviet Union. One day, and in dead earnest, he came up with the Ultimate Riot Control Device. It was a fire engine, the kind with a large tank and a top-mounted water cannon, filled with the produce from a hundred Porta-Poopers. Extra points if the, uh, homogenate was tainted with retroviruses. I'll tell yuh, drinking beer with him was never a dull moment.
