Joe; Eric answers all posts. So when he makes a comment, and three angry people answer he makes three angry rejoinders and 9 people make angry ripostes, and so on and so forth. He is there because you all want him there, you telephone him in effect and he answers. The SI protocol is to answer all posts, and they stay active until you read them, and then why not answer them.

I do know that all this posting is cutting into his research time, and sleep time.

EC doesn't need the likes of me to defend him. I just get tired of the overheated E bashing that is the hallmark of the dying play. All my questions have been answered many times with more hype and rhetoric, not even one single good theory, except from EC who has answered almost all of them.
