<< The first couple of days of this downturn, at least the optimists were buying at opening, resulting in a quick point or two rise before falling. Today's morning uptick was much smaller, half a point. I guess all the optimists have bought. If this trend
continues, tomorrow should show a lower opening. >>

With HK is down -2.31% and Nikkei -1.99% already I am afraid you might be right. This is absolytely insane but the institutions not only dumping QNTM but even going short.
I have no doubts when the dusts setles QNTM will be the first one to
recover. Who is loosing right now? The individual investors, those
who did not joined the crowd. Unfortunatelly I'm one of them. I was picking up some shares all the way down, hoping that it'll stop and
go back up, doesn't look like it. Why QNTM is not coming up with some
sort of a statement to take away some fears? I have only two reasons
for that: 1. Their business is not as good as it seems (doubtfully)
2. They do not care about the individual investors.
