zebra, you may be right that the stock is forming a base but i believe it will have to test the 20 7/8 first before it makes another attempt to go higher. the end of the day trading today was not good

zebra, did you tell this patient that MUSE is AVAILABLE and WORKS great??????????????

<<<I agree with your position. I have had to tell two patients already (one today) that there is no pill on the market yet and they were not pleased with that. They felt that they saw an ad for a pill. One mentioned some Peter Jennings spot, I suppose many of you saw it, I didn't. But the interesting thing is that these are patients who never brought up the issue before, and they have had the problem before. Point is that the awareness level will be raised, and the VVUS advertising dollars will be that much more effective after Pfizer has raised the issue. The pie is expanding, and remember, this is not just a demand driven market, these meds still are tailored to the patient by physicians.>>>

Zebra, great post and vey true.
Several points to add:
-discussing ED in the office is time consuming.
-several big Urology practices have a full time nurse to do just that.
-I doubt that in managed carem offices they'll be able to afford to
have a full time nurse to discusss ED in particular. Too specilized field.
-Vivus is advertisig now in Urology joiurnals: Open any and EVERY issue of J of Urology, or Urology, and there are adds about Muse.
It is mostly Urologists who give Muse out now.
-When new Muse production will be out Urologists will rapidly distribute it as fast as they can. They don't need to be told. They ALL know about it and are waiting for bigger new supplies and subsequent word of mouth to rapidly do the jop.
- the demand/need for ED therapy is so high out there that it will move like brush fire.
- When Viagra comes it will only fuel the Muse fire even stronger.
The old Muse users, will just add the pill to it.The new users will soon do the same.
-and then Vivus will come out end 98 or early 99 with MUSE/ Prazosin, an even more powerfull combination.
the large cash flows will then continue to fuel research: the new Forskolin herb in the last issue of the J of Urology ( Nov. ), may be added:that will be a zinger.

Thanks for a great post, Zebra.

BTW, I was in at our local CVS yesterday getting some prenatal vitamins and asked about MUSE and it's availability. Got the usual story from the pharmacist about how there was a lack of availability in the beginning but now there is no problem getting it. Same ol' same ol'.
