That could actually work out for me (assuming I don't become unemployed from all of this happening). I'd be about ready to retire around when he sees the end of "the next broad-based global bull market", meanwhile stocks would be cheap in between so my money would buy more shares (of course if things get sufficiently bad and the companies go out of business it doesn't matter how cheap you bought the shares, but I mostly buy broad based funds, including international funds, and he doesn't predict devastation so bad as to prevent the latter bull market.

I certainly think such scenario is possible, but I don't think anyone can be relied on when they make such guesses.
