Good for Obama, he should cave on everything Republicans want. After all, you leftists can't abandon the first black President no matter what he does. ------------- As for the tax cuts, the Democrats were foolish not to extend them BEFORE the last election. If Obama rejected extending tax cuts now, he'd have insured tax rates on low income Americans would have gone up from 10% to 15% - a 50% increase at a time of almost 10% unemployment. Boy, that would really have made Democrats popular - NOT. Politically that would have been good for Republicans, but not good for the country. I'm glad Obama and the Republicans put the country first.
