If US recognizes Palestine state and peace comes to that era.

Delusional logic.. The REAL problem is that the Palestinians, AND ESPECIALLY HAMAS, refuse to recognize Israel. And from the Israeli's point of view, there's nothing to be gained by negotiating with people who don't even recognize their right to exist as a nation/state.

HAMAS, an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood (of which Al-Qaida is another militant branch) will not recognize Israel, nor ever contemplate making peace. The most they will submit to is a temporary "truce".

If you doubt my words, or the intentions of HAMAS, let the voice of HAMAS political minister and cleric, Yunis Al-Astal, educate you:

Yep.. they want to destroy Israel, which they consider "Dar Al-Islam", and then move on to Rome and ultimately the "Two Americas".

Deluding ourselves to the real obstacles to Mid-East peace is not going to accomplish that goal.

What has to change is the political and religious tone within the Muslim world. The forces of moderation and tolerance must be fostered and religious militancy neutralized.
