Mark: Wasn't the April decline in responce to news about the DA filing charges? If Technical analysis was going to predict this drop, I would suspect it would be different than the news driven event last April. A few days ago it was suggested that this could be a long slow decline.

Mark,
The AVNT chart is a continuation of the pattern of lower lows and lower highs the has been discussed here for some time. This isn't a rapid turn down that can be seen in the charts of other high tech stocks, its a gradual erosion. Of course the underlying problems could cause a collapse at any time depending on news releases and court decisions. The increased volume and weakness looks like traders and funds looking for the exit.
