no, the last tide brought shit in certain states. Not Alabama. in Georgia there are some messed-up folks going to main House in D.C. ... but let them whirl on their national stage. In Alabama the repubs hold the state house and senate for the first time in 136 years... but look at us. what have the dems done for us? I'm willing to take a chance. the state house and senate people ran on getting something done, not on The Gay (read The Black) or on abortion. they ran on getting something done. the rhetoric on the state level here is nothing like the national talk. but, again, we shall see.
