Sanity check for you...... The top 0.1% (140,000) of taxpayers average about 2,000,000 AGI and paid an average 22.7% if AGI in taxes.... And you know a lot of people who pay the top rate?? If you know even one, that would be incredible... Buffet, you will recall, paid a little over 17%. You did not pay 20% and I don't know what your AGI is... a person's writings tell a lot about him.. irs.gov
