Bobby Kennedy is dead. JFK is dead. Since their deaths, this country has swung to the right. Many of the hippies of the 1960s became the neocons of this decade. I need for you to deal with the reality of 2010 and not what you remember from the 1960s. This country is not very liberal; not very progressive and its voters not very well informed. That is the sad reality of 2010. I am not willing to throw out what's left of the baby with the wash on some misguided hoped for liberal principles. And don't think this makes me very happy.....I am probably more liberal than you are. And I wish this frigging country was different......or I had been born in Germany or France or Sweden.
