He can make it better; others can make it worse. That's what high speed rail is all about, along with Cash for Clunkers/Caulkers, smart grid, etc. But, at the rate we are going, 20 years from now I'll still be saying "20 more years.." In '12, we'll be hearing "Drillbabydrill" again, but we better be doing more than that. Takes a long time to replace 240 million vehicles. It depends on when we reach peak oil. You believe we're at peak oil. A lot of geologists think we're near but not there yet. Many think we'll hit peak oil around 2025. If that's correct, I think we will have enough time to make the necessary adjustments. If you're right, then we are probably screwed. Time will tell.
