It seems that Wikileaks is quite particular about such things and has no intentions of people coming to harm. <I draw the line where such leaks might place innocent US citizens and/or military personnel, at risk..

But that's my "line in the sand", and others draw theirs differently.

It would be fair to say that those who were willing to believe there were WMDs are far more culpable about putting lives not just at risk but in coffins in their multithousands. Not to mention the 10s of thousands maimed. And the swarms PTSDed out of commission.

You might even recall me ranting BEFORE the event that there were no WMDs to speak of and the phrase Big Foot. Which side of the line in the sand were you on then?

I would not have invaded Iraq. It didn't particularly worry me that people wanted to because in such a dog eat dog world of Temporal Barbarians, it was a passable idea [for those enthusiastic about doing it at risk to their life and limb and wallets] for a more ethical mob to take over [if we can call the UN's Cow more ethical, which is not totally clear - when we consider for example their attitudes to Israel].

Heck, I even got how long the conquest would take right = one orbit of a Globalstar satellite which was 110 minutes. Which was sort of a joke meaning it would be a cake-walk. Sure enough, it took as long as it took to drive tanks to Baghdad. I even got the casualties right [near enough for government work] at I think it was 3000 or maybe 4000. And that the hard work would take place after the cakewalk [aka "Mission Accomplished"] in a door to door urban battlefield.

Those false WMDs were certainly expensive. You even had the correct information handed to you on a plate. Fancy believing Allawi. What a joke. "Oh yes, Saddam has mushroom clouds ready to land on New York with 40 minute launch time".
