Today it's J.P. Morgan ...
you "control" Intel - you "control" the SOX.
Something must have been gone "sour"...slam, slam, slam
(BTW I always thought the US having a lot of top notch fabless chip makers should have an U.S. based foundry - it's very ironic that OPEC is funding (a good portion) of Global Foundries - and NOT the Bush tax cuts - LOL)

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has seen its IDM clients increase orders since the fourth quarter of 2010, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report. In addition to demand for 65nm and below processes, the foundry also landed an influx of orders for 0.13-micron and other mature processes from the IDM sector, the paper said.

TSMC will likely allocate about 10% of the company's overall capex to expand its capacity for mature processes in 2011, the paper indicated, without naming its source.

TSMC has revealed it will allocate US$5.8 billion in capex for its foundry business, of which about 79% would be used to expand its 65/40/28nm technology capacity and 13% for mainstream processes. The company has not yet announced its total capex budget for 2011.
