<<And since Capitalism requires dilution of Governmental power and free movement of labor, capital, and profits, eventually the cultures in HK and Bejing are going to clash>>

... and the result of the clash would be?

that hamoon thinks he knows the answer.

since he keeps answering wrong, what he thinks is best treated as amusement.

BS, the USA living standard is just getting going. <I believe that the height of the US standard of living has been reached.. > Millions of people are working flat out, and successfully, to improve it further. Have you not noticed those amazing HTC Desire devices and swarms of other Android Trojan Horses?

Check out the biotech revolution. 23andMe for example can give you your genome for $500 and now discounted to $99. 23andme.com That's an enormous standard of living improvement in itself.

Then there is Google Earth and all the other Google things, not least of which is search which is not far off a free memory plug in for our brains, which works perfectly, instant recall, complete with images and associative thinking.

Cars continue to develop at high speed with autonomous vehicles now a reality with Google test-driving them.

Globalstar is in the process of launching.

We are at the beginning of a stupendously huge improvement in standard of living. Measuring standard of living in sulphuric acid produced, tons of steel, number of televisions and SUVs is out of date. Food calories was once a key measure of standard of living, with the more the merrier. Now, poverty is correlated with obesity, not ribs sticking out. The poor are trying to figure out how to eat less, not more.

Capitalism as we know it will not survive..

I think it's always been changing, since its advent. From the Adam Smith "invisible hand" model to socialist hybrid.

It's an economic model that should never be permitted to become the economic "tail" wagging the democratic/sovereign "dog".

The problem is that any "dog" that's non-democratic, yet capitalist, is traditionally Fascist. In fact, that's Mussolini's original economic definition of Fascism.. the private sector harnessed to support the will of the political elite.

And we know where Fascist rhetoric and beliefs have led us.

Btw, I recommend Hernando De Soto's "Mystery of Capital"..
