"Seriously, my wife is "into" spiritualism and shamanism and signs from eagles and various animals. Indeed, it was she who informed me that someone I knew had a deep cancer--and it was so."

<<<So your wife talks to dead people and they told her that there was someone who had cancer in your family?>>>

"What in the Hell are you talking about, you Stupid Freak??"

Did you not include the rest of the question (including the fact that it was a question) on purpose? Do you even know what spiritualists and shamans actually believe and practice? Who exactly do you think they are communicating with?

"spiritualism and shamanism"
spir·i·tu·al·ism (spr-ch--lzm)
n.
1.
a. The belief that the dead communicate with the living, as through a medium.
b. The practices or doctrines of those holding such a belief.
A distinguishing feature is the belief that spirits of the dead residing in the spirit world have both the ability and the inclination to communicate with the living. Anyone may receive spirit messages, but formal communication sessions (séances) are held by "mediums", who can then provide information about the afterlife.

shamanism:
any animistic religion similar to Asian shamanism (especially as practiced by certain Native American tribes)
an animistic religion of northern Asia having the belief that the mediation between the visible and the spirit worlds is effected by shamans
