<<"What do you want to cut?: defense, social security, medicade medicare or interest on the debt. those are your only choices dude!"

All of them!!!......Dude.

Simple fact, increasing taxes on the "rich" will have little, if any, effect on reducing the deficit.

Wake up!>>

Wake up? It is a matter of forth grade arithmetic. Tax cuts for the rich and the estate tax cut will add about a trillion dollars to the deficit in the next 10 years. Or if they pay them we can cut a trillion off of the debt!

You want to cut social security? Do you know what life was like for old people before social security? More often than not they died a horrible death of suffering and no dignity.

The poorest people in the coutnry are old people and half of them live solely on social security. That they paid into. And social security is easily fixed.

What kind of person are you? You don't care what happens to old poor people? They not only are usually poor, but sick from one thing or another.

History is replete with uncaring people and horrible suffering by mankind due to people with little empathy and kindess. Feudal lords and peasants.

You wake up, and show a little empathy for your fellow man!
