your welcome. i think that rule is long gone. there are a lot of factors that go into choice of auditor, including price and loyalty. I dont put that much stock into auditors as even the best get defrauded and screw investors. for example in the enron case many more people should have ended up in jail than actually went. the auditors and the banks helped to defraud numerous investors and employees who invested in the companies. you cant trust anyone. I have been burned plenty of times and usually there were warning signals that i didnt pay enough attention to.
