nope.. I just get a kick out of the incessant do as I say, not as I do rhetoric from the West.. reminds me of bad parenting :O)

but isn't that exactly what the US did with California ?

Texas at least was fighting its own war of independence...

If I had meant that though it would make more sense for the Chinese to aggregate Canada.. less folks.. lots of Chinese comparatively and Chinese infrastructure.. lots of natural resources with a much lower absolute domestic need for same :O)

Of course if Canada would simply get real with its foreign trade ratios... that would not even be desirable :O)
